Important Meeting Held Under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro to Review the Performance of Social Organizations Working in the District
Jamshoro: An important meeting was held at the DC Office under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro, Ghazanfar Ali Qadri, to review the performance of social organizations (NGOs) working across the district and assess their ongoing public welfare projects.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner received detailed briefings from representatives of various social organizations regarding their ongoing projects, performance, and the facilities being provided to the public. On the occasion, representatives of the Mamta Programme, HANDS, SRSO, FRDP, and other organizations briefed the meeting on their ongoing development and welfare projects in their respective fields.
Representatives of HANDS informed the meeting that various awareness campaigns related to family planning, maternal and child health, and public health are being conducted in Taluka Sehwan and Manjhand through Marvi Workers. Representatives of other organizations also highlighted their ongoing activities in the fields of education, health, social welfare, and community development.
On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Ghazanfar Ali Qadri said that public welfare projects can be made more effective through mutual cooperation between the district administration and social organizations. He emphasized that all organizations should maintain close coordination with the district administration and continue joint efforts for the betterment of the public, health, education, and social development, so that the citizens of the district can benefit to the maximum extent.
Additional Deputy Commissioner-II Muhammad Tarique Kaka (PMS), District Manager HANDS Imam Bakhsh, District In-charge Mamta Programme Ms. Abida, FRDP Project Manager Ali Muhammad Kalar, President SINDHU Society Ms. Farzana Airy, SIF Ms. Samreen, and representatives of various social organizations attended the meeting.
